7 Months Old Already?

Hannah Kate you're 7 months old today. Wow! I can hardly believe it.

I know I say that every month, but I watched her jump her heart out today in her jumperoo and she looked so much older. Only 5 more months til her 1st birthday!

This month was a little tiring on mom and dad. Hannah battled a double ear infection while I battled a bad cold. I've never been so busy at work. So to say I am tired is an understatement. But we are pushing through and taking life one day at a time.

Stats from this month:
Weight: 18lbs 5 oz
Height: 27 1/2"
-You wear a sorts of sizes. Some 3-6 months pants still fit. 6 month pajamas (but you are growing out of them quickly), 6 month and 6-9 month onsies and some 9 month tops. I'm having fun putting you into some of your fall clothes finally.
-You sleep inconsistently. Some nights you don't wake up at all, some nights you wake up but go back to sleep easily, and some nights you wake up screaming and need to be fed.
-You now eat 6 oz bottles every 3-4 hours during the day
-You still do well with solids. We just tried carrots for the 1st time the other day.
-You met your great grandma Nana. She loves you :)
-You are babbling a lot. It's so cute
-You still love to sit and play with your toys
-You can now use my hands and pull up to stand. You get so proud of yourself when you do it too

Here are some pictures from her 7 month photo shoot including pics of her in her chicken Halloween costume :)

What a Month!!!

Well I have been so busy that I have completely neglected this blog. I finally have a minute to update those who are just dying to know what's been going on with our little HK.

This has been the month of sickness. I battled an upper respiratory infection for about 3 weeks and Hannah has been sick with a double ear infection for about that long too. It's been interesting to say the least. She hasn't really been cranky unless she is running fever. And after 2 rounds of oral antibiotics, that didn't work, we finally had to get shots of antibiotics. We go back this week to follow-up and hopefully they are clear. If not we have to go see an ENT doc :( That usually means that she will need tubes. I'm hoping she won't have to but we'll see.

I went to Dallas a few weeks ago to visit my brother and Brittany. I had to use some airline miles so I thought it would be a good time to visit the big city. We had a great time. It was my first time away from Hannah, but she and her daddy did great. He had some help from my mom, but mostly it was just daddy and daughter weekend.

In Dallas I helped Britt with last minute buying for Harlan which was a lot of fun. His nursery is coming together so great. I can't wait til it's all finished.

We also went to the Dallas Arboretum and saw their pumpkin display. I've never seen so many pumpkins in one place in my life. It was quite impressive.

Overall it was a really nice weekend and I was happy to see my brother and sister-in-law. I can't wait til my baby nephew arrives next month. It's going to be so much fun.

Lastly, I would like to add my Nana is in town from Nebraska. It's been very special for me and Brandon that Hannah has met all three of her great grandmas now. And all three can't get enough of her. We have been waiting and waiting for Nana to come to Lubbock to visit her great grand baby since March, and I think she kinda likes her :)
