13 Months Old

Hannah is 13 Months old. Wow! My little baby is growing into a little girl before my eyes. So much has changed in a month. This is a little late, but we are currently looking like this photo below right now due to a stubborn ear infection that won't go away. Poor baby has been running a fever of 101-102 for the past two days and is just miserable.

Here are the stats for month 13:

• Weight: 21 lbs 10 oz
•  Height: 30 inches
• You wear sizes 12 month, 12-18 and 18 month clothes. 
• You wear a size 4 diaper
• You still sleep great. You go down really easy and sleep til 6:30am or 7am
• You don't take good naps at daycare, but you nap well at home on the weekends. You have even taken some 2 hour naps at home this month which is unheard of for you.
•  You are off formula. Yay!!! You drink 1 bottle still but soon you will be a full time sippy cup user. You have gotten so much better at using it in the last few weeks.
• Meal time has gotten a lot easier this month. You love chicken, turkey, fish sticks, snacks, oranges, PB&J, & oatmeal. You don't really like avocados, but maybe you'll learn to love them. We have been trying to give you more table foods and you try most things eventually. We have to work with you, but it's getting easier.
• You are talking a lot more. You say "dada", "mama", "bye", "uh oh", and sometimes you will say a few other words. You also have been saying "all done" and "down" after you eat. 
• You know what you want, when you want it and if you don't get it you get so mad. Such the lil diva. Ha!
• You still don't walk yet, but it won't be long. You are more comfortable and confident being on your feet and love to cruise around. You even stood up and balanced you self without assistance yesterday so I know walking is around the corner.
• You cut another tooth on the bottom this past week so you have 5 now.
• You have such a sweet and funny personality. Everyone just can't get enough of you.

This happy boy is 5 months old today :) I love him and miss him and can't wait to see him soon.

Easter Sunday

Easter weekend came and went. I was so tired after taking care of Hannah all day for 3 days straight. We went to an Easter celebration at my grandma's place. Hannah couldn't hunt for eggs this year, but next year will be fun. She did like the live music and sitting in the sunshine though.

Easter Sunday didn't go really as planned. We got up and ate breakfast and headed to church. Hannah was pretty whinny and wouldn't take a nap before we left. I should of known that would be a big mistake. We were half way through the service when we had to leave because she wouldn't stop crying in the nursery. She's kinda going through a stage of being upset all the time. I think maybe it's all the changes she's going through, but I don't really know. Please pray that this stage will pass.

We had Easter lunch with all the grandparents at the house and had a really nice time.

Hannah Kate is 12 Months Old!!!

Well we made it through the first birthday fun. Hannah is doing so well and really coming into her own. She has such a sweet personality and is so much fun to be around. Thank you Lord for keeping her healthy and happy.

Here are the stats for month 12:

- Weight: 22lbs
- Height: 29 inches
- You wear sizes 12 month, 12-18 and 18 month clothes. You have a small foot so you still wear a size 3 shoe
- You wear a size 4 diaper
- You sleep great. You go down between 7-7:30pm and sleep til 7am!!!
- You don't take good naps at daycare, but you nap well at home on the weekends.
- You started drinking whole milk this week. We are trying to get the hang of the sippy cup. We try to give it to you, but you just play with it. We are fazing out the bottles, but you still take 4 bottles a day so it will take a little more time. That's okay.
- You like baby food and snacks, but don't like many table foods yet. We are working on it, but it has been a challenge. Meal time is not my favorite
-Bath time is a blast though!!!
- You are talking a lot more. You say "dada", "mama", "bye", "uh oh", and sometimes you will say a few other words. It's fun to hear your sweet voice.
- You still love to crawl. You move so fast. You can now pull up to a stand and walk using furniture to balance you, but you aren't ready to walk quite yet. You stood up by yourself for about 3 seconds yesterday, but then you fell backwards. It scared you and you cried :(
-You cut two more teeth this month. You now have 4. Two top and two on bottom.
- You smile and laugh all the time and are finally getting more comfortable with strangers.
- You love to wave and clap your hands. We are working a blowing kisses too :)
- You are very smart and observant.
- You have such a sweet personality and get more beautiful all the time.
