Christmas 2015
We had a very low key Christmas for the most part. I have to admit it took me a little bit of time this year to get into the Christmas spirit. But it all came together and we had a great time celebrating with our families. On Dec 23rd Hannah came down with the stomach bug. So all our Christmas Eve plans were a wash. We instead were battling dehydration and delirium. Not exactly what I pictured we would be doing, but so is life. Christmas Day we got up and took our time eating breakfast and opening presents just the four of us. Thankfully Hannah had bounced back and really enjoyed the day. We had Christmas that night with Brandon's family and Christmas the next day with my family at my Mom's house. And then the the Blizzard Goliath Snowmageddon came and we were stuck inside for days. Crazy!!! I turned 32 (eeek!!!) on Dec 30th and now it's 2016! Such a crazy month we have had. I'm so glad the hustle and bustle is over and I have a routine back and I'm looking forward to all the exciting things to come this year.

Hudson Jacob Is 2!!!
Our Sweet Lil Man turned 2 on December 18th! Wow! What a blessing this boy is to us. His name means "Son of Hugh" and Hugh means "Light." He honestly is the light of my life. I didn't know how much of a blessing it would to have a son until I had him. We just have such a special bond.
He's grown so much since my last post of him at 18 months. We celebrated his birthday by taking him to Chuck-E-Cheese, opening presents and eating cake. It was a very small celebration compared to last year's Grinch Party. It nice though and he didn't care one bit. Here are your 2 year stats.
2 Year Update
Weight: 28 lbs (50% for weight)
Height: 34 inches (50% for height)
Features: You have dark hazel eyes. You have blonde hair just like your sister. You just had your first haircut too and you look so handsome. You have all your teeth except your back molars. Those will be coming in soon though. We took you to the dentist for the first time and all is good considering you hate having your teeth brused!
Clothes: You are all over the board in clothes. You're still in some 18 months, mostly 24 months and some 2T. You wear a size 6 shoe.
Sleep: Sleep has really improved in the last few months. You sleep more consistently thorough the night and go down so much better. Hallelujah!
Eating: You are pretty picky about what you eat lately. Breakfast is your favorite meal of the day. Your favorite foods are strawberries, oranges, bananas, pb&j, turkey, waffles, toast, eggs, applesauce, cheese crackers, and hot dogs. You really don't drink milk anymore. Neither does big sis.
Likes: You love to play with Hannah, chase the dog around the house, play outside, you love Elmo, books are your absolute favorite, you like some movies but lose interest quickly, coloring, hide & go seek, dress up, singing, bath time, and you love pretending to cook with Daddy in the kitchen.
Milestones: You are so vocal and talk in complete sentences. I amazed how smart you are for your age. You can count to 11, know all your colors and can identify most animals and the sounds they make. It's so fun watching you grow.
That's just a brief synopsis of what's going on with Hudson now. Here's a look back at the past year and some birthday pics.
