It' beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Hughes house. Our stockings our hung, the lights are up, and we are ready to celebrate. Hannah's 1st Christmas is sure to be a good one.
After Thanksgiving dinner we decided to take some family photos for our Christmas card. I'm so glad we did, because that weekend it got really cold and nasty and it's been pretty nasty outside ever since. Here are the best from that day. My Dad and Nana tagged along so we got some 4 generation photos with them as well.
I'm getting a little behind on blogging. Who has time to blog? I can't believe I haven't even posted about Thanksgiving.
We had a great Thanksgiving. We hosted at our house this year. It was really special because we got to share Hannah's first Thanksgiving with both my mom and dad and both of my grandmas :) So fun!!! We ate a lot and then we ate some more out at Brandon's dad's house. I love sharing all of Hannah's first holidays with family. Makes it so special.
First of all I'm a Christian and a daily follower of Jesus Christ my Savior. I'm a writer, an artist, a poet a friend. I'm a daughter, a sister, a favorite granddaughter and a niece. I graduated Texas Tech University in May 2006 and I have been on a non stop roller coaster ride ever since. I went to school for graphic design and now hold a steady job as an in house designer for the 3rd best company to work for in Texas, University Medical Center. I married to my best friend Brandon on March 21, 2009. Two years later on March 23, 2011 we welcomed our first precious baby, Hannah Kate. She is the light of my life. We are now expecting our second child, a boy, in December 2013. I have a wonderful dog named Teensy who always keeps me entertained. I love my life and thank God every day for the blessings He has given me. I know my place is always beside Him doing great things in the name of His love.
