Hannah Kate 4 Months & 16 Months

I guess I better post these because Hannah is turning 17 months old tomorrow. I was only able to capture this one session with her this month. She is keeping me really busy these days. However, there are some good ones as usual. Enjoy!!!

16 Months

Well Hannah Kate is 16 Months as of July 23rd. I'm a little late on this post, but I've been pretty busy keeping up with my little busy bee. She keeps life so entertaining right now. This month she has changed so much. Especially in her verbal capabilities as well as her mobility.

16 Month Stats:

• Weight: 22lbs 8 oz last time we weighed you
• Height: 31" last time we measured you
• You wear 12-18, 18 month,  and some 24 month clothes
• You wear a size 4 diaper, but they're getting a little snug 
• You wear a size 4 shoe and we are getting some more now that you are walking.
• You go to bed around 7:30pm and sleep til about 7:30-8am
• You eat 3 meals a day and eat one or two snacks
• You are being a little more picky about what you eat these days, but for the most part, you still eat pretty well.
• You love drinking from your sippy cup. You love water. I like you to drink water right now instead of juice. You love love water and it's good for you.
• You are still enjoying almond milk
  
• You took your first steps the day you turned 15 months and became a full time walking machine the day you turned 16 months. You are still getting use to the balancing part, but you are on the go. You are walking all over the house and love for us to chase you. I'm so proud of you. You are really a toddler now :)
  
• You have 10 teeth I think. 6 on top and 4 on bottom.
• You are letting me to brush your teeth again. So that's good.
• You still are such a happy and funny baby. You have a serious/dramatic side to you too. Ha!
• I love your sweet laugh.
  
  
• Your vocabulary is really growing. You say so many words. You say "Mama" "Dada" "Bye-Bye" "Down" "All Done" (ah-do) "Hi" "Uh-Oh" "Hannah" "Book" "Fish" "Shoe" "No" "Baby" "Teensy" "Duck" "Apple" "Banana" "Eye" (point to your eye) "More" "Dog" "Milk" "Bath" and some more I can't think of right now. I'm sure you will only become more fluent in the next few months.
  
• You've been signing "milk", "all done" and "more" consistently and starting to sign a lot more words as well. You say the word when you sign it.
• You are very smart and are learning how your toys work and how to operate things like the tv remote and phone. You love electronics.
  
• You were sick with a tummy virus last month and daddy and grammy got it too. No fun :(
• You love to clap your hands and dance to the music. You love to dance.
• You have so many facial expressions. It's hilarious how expressive you are.

You are the best little baby in the world and we are just loving every minute of this stage of your life.

This photo shoot is lucky it has even happened yet. Hannah has been pretty sick for the last few days with a stomach bug and Brandon and I have been battling sinus infections for a couple of weeks now. I love the flash back comparison at the top, but it wasn't my original plan. My original "flash back" photo op was to try and recreate this beauty from a year ago.

Well it didn't go very well. This is about all I got.

I did manage to capture these two which I think are so beautiful.

Hannah Kate 15 Month Update

Well it's been over 3 months since we celebrated little Miss Priss's 1st birthday. She has really changed in the last 3 months mostly in personality and development. Everyone is always commenting on how expressive she is. She has quite the little personality and makes so many different facial expressions. Here is your update with photos I took this month on my iPhone. 

15 Month Update

An apple a day...

• Weight: 22lbs 8 oz
• Height: 31"
• You wear 12-18, 18 month, & some 24 month clothes
• You wear a size 4 diaper
• You go to bed around 7-7:30pm and sleep til 7-7:30am. You can stay up later with no problem.
• You started napping better at day care and at home. So weird since you have always been the no nap baby. I guess you just wear yourself out playing so hard
• You eat 3 meals a day & eat two snacks
• You still love snacks: crackers, cookies, goldfish :)

• You are trying most foods, but love fish sticks, applesauce, yogurt, chicken nuggets, peas, french fries, toast, & oatmeal the best.  
• You drink very well from a sippy cup
• We switched you from soy milk to almond milk and you love that too. You drink 3 sippy cups a day and 2 cups of water. Your runny nose has somewhat improved since. Let's just say we haven't been to the doctor because you were sick since the switch. Yay!!!

• You "speed" crawl everywhere and get into everything. You love to open cabinets and drawers
• Great news this month. You took your 1st steps on your own the day you turned 15 months. You can take about 4-5 steps without falling and do this several times a day. It's a start. I think it's safe to say you won't be crawling across the stage to accept your high school diploma. Ha!

• You have 8 teeth at least. You never open your mouth wide enough for me to look.
• You stopped letting me brush your teeth easily.
• You still are such a happy and funny baby
• Your laugh is contagious :)

Pool time

• You had your first temper tantrum a week or two ago and mommy didn't handle it very well. I was like who is this devil baby and where did my sweet angel baby go? ;)
• We got you to try your splash pool again and you liked it better. You love the outside so I know you will love to swim one day.

We love you Hannah Kate. You make life interesting and fun. Couldn't imagine life now without you. Thank you Lord for our precious gift.
