17 Months Old

Hannah turned 17 months old on Aug 23rd. This age is so fun. She is becoming more independent every day and I love seeing her sweet personality start to develop.

This is what you are up to this month.

• Weight: 22lbs 8 oz last time we weighed you
• Height: 31.5" last time we measured you
• You have curly dark blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes
• You wear 12-18, 18 month,  and some 24 month clothes. 2T is still too big
• You wear a size 4 diaper, but they're getting a little snug 
• You wear a Size 4 shoe but you will probably be in a Size 5 soon

  

  Multitasking

• You go to bed around 7:30pm and sleep til about 7:30-8am. You sleep so well and are a dream baby for me to get to sleep most nights. I love it and I know not everyone experiences this with their kids
• You eat 3 meals a day and eat one or two snacks
• You are still pretty picky on what you eat. Your appetite is just not what it use to be.

• You love drinking from your sippy cup. You love water. I let you have some pink lemonade the other day and you love it!!!
• You are still enjoying almond milk

  Pool Time

• You are really a great walker now. You almost run. It's so funny how I worried that you might never walk, but you are and love your new found independence. 
• You have 12 teeth I think. 6 on top and 6 on bottom.
• You don't let me brush your teeth again. Maybe time to find another kind of toothpaste
• Still such a Daddy's girl, but you love your Mama too :)

• You have such a sweet personality. I really thought you were going to be a strong willed child but you are just so sweet and so fun to be around.
  

  

  Little Diva

• It seems like you try to a say a new word almost every day. You say "Mama" "Dada" "Bye-Bye" "Down" "All Done" (ah-do) "Hi" "Uh-Oh" "Hannah" "Book" "Fish" "Shoe" "No" "Baby" "Teensy" "Duck" "Apple" "Banana" "Eye" (point to your eye) "More" "Dog" "Milk" "Bath" "Chicken" "Purple" "Ball" "Eat" "Phone" "Juice" and repeat a lot of words we say too. Your favorite word is "Mine".  Ha!

  Grammy and Her Two Grand Kids

• You've been signing "milk", "all done" and "more" consistently and starting to sign a lot more words as well. You say the word when you sign it.
• You are very smart and are learning how your toys work and how to operate things like the tv remote and phone. You love electronics.

  

  Sweet Little Mommy

• We were both getting over colds this week. No fun, but at least it wasn't an ear infection.
• You are really learning to play now. Everything is an adventure
  

  

  Finger Painting with Colored Pudding. Yum!!!

• You love to watch Veggie Tales movies and PBS shows in the morning. 
• You are still such a little ham.

Hannah you're almost 1 and a half years old. Wow! You are so smart and so special. I just love you so much and can't wait to see what you will learn next.
