Hannah Kate 8 Months & 20 Months

Hannah will be 21 months old on Sunday. Only three more months before she's two. She's getting so big and learning something new every day. I love this age because their brains are like little sponges and they soak everything up. It's amazing how much she's retaining right now. She loves her new "school"!!! It's been such a relief and a blessing to know how much she loves her classmates and teachers. She is thriving and I'm so very happy.

20 Month Stats:

• Weight: 24bs 6oz
• Height: 32"
• You have curly dark blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes
• You wear 12-18, 18 month,  and some 24 month clothes. You've pretty much out grown all your 18 month pants because you've gotten longer, but you haven't gained a lot of weight in the past 6 months so all your shirts still fit.
• You wear a size 4 diaper. Might start introducing the "potty" next month EEEK!!!
•  You wear a size 5 to 5.5 shoe. Your getting pink TOMS for Christmas in a size 6 
• You go to bed around 7:30pm and sleep til about 7am. You got use to the time change and now will go to bed even earlier some nights. You practically beg us to put to in your "bed" and want two blankies, your monkey, pillow and then you tell us "bye". It's pretty cute.
• You eat 3 meals a day. Some days you are more picky than others. Your go-to meals are chicken nuggets with veggies and apple sauce or peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese sandwiches.
• You still drink almond milk from your cup. You also have mastered using a straw.
• You don't walk now you run. You don't have really long legs so it's hard for you to climb. It's frustrates you, but I'm really happy about it.
• You have 14 teeth? I think you are cutting some more.
• You don't let me brush your teeth easily. You let your daddy do it sometimes.
• You can be so silly at times, but you are VERY shy around strangers.  Sometimes I get so embarrassed how whiny you are around strangers or even you family. I wish they could see how friendly and fun you really are.
• You LOVE Veggie Tales. I think you are addicted. I try to limit your time with those silly vegetables, but sometimes it's hard to resist. Ha!
• You started counting this month. You learned how to count to 10 at school and did it for us at home one night and really surprised us. We are so proud of you.
• You also know almost all your colors. Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, Purple & Pink :)
• You have a very broad vocabulary for such a young girl. New words this month are bathtub, snack, table, awesome, cold, yum, bless you, sit, happy, silly, love you, hungry, bed please, nasty, hurt & princess. 
• Your favorite words to say: No, Mine & Bye
• My favorite words you say: Please, Thank You & Love You
• We went on your first airplane ride to Dallas last month for Harlan's birthday. You did awesome. I was really nervous leading up to it, but you did really well. 
• We had a good Thanksgiving. We went to eat lunch with my dad for lunch at Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving Day and then out to Shallowater to eat dinner with the Hughes bunch. Then we ate Chuy's Mexican food up at Mamere's place on Friday with Grammy, aunt Carla and uncle Jay. Pretty low key, but nice.
• You had a pretty bad runny nose for a month so we finally took you to the doctor last week and you have another double ear infection :( You seem better this week though. 

Hannah you are such a joy. We love you so much and are so proud of all your accomplishments. I cherish every moment I spend with you and love seeing you grow.
