We are closing on another year with our sweet precious baby girl. In just a few weeks we will have a two year old. She has already been acting like a two year old for months though. Ha! I'm really enjoying this age for the most part. Hannah is such a loving child. She loves showing us affection and giving us big hugs a kisses. I see glimpses still of a little baby but for the most part I can tell she's starting to be more independent and testing her boundaries.
22 Month Stats:
- Weight: Around 26lbs
- Height: 33"
- You have curly dark blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes
- Your hair is really coming in now and I'm not sure how to tame it.
- You wear 18 month, 18-24 month and some 24 month clothes. Some brands fit better than others.
- You wear a size 4 diaper.
- We bought you a little elmo potty. Your like to flush it and her Elmo say "Woohoo" but you are not too interested in going in it quite yet. We are going to take this potty training slowly. I know you will do it when you are good and ready. You can't be rushed.
- You wear a size 5.5-6 shoe. You got new tennis shoes over the weekend that light up and they are a 6.5T.
- You go to bed around 7:30pm and sleep til about 7-8am. It's so nice when its closer to 8am. You did have a week though that you wanted to sleep in the guest room with me. You had another ear infection and it was affecting your sleep.
- We might be transiting you to a toddler bed soon, but I think we'll wait til you turn 2.
- You eat 3 meals a day. Some days you are more picky than others.
Your go-to meals are chicken nuggets with veggies and apple sauce or
peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese sandwiches. Some days you eat everything and others not as much.
- You love breakfast food.
- You still drink almond milk from your cup.
- You don't walk now you run. You love to run into the street, but it makes me so nervous. I'm so glad we live on a culdesac.
- I have no idea how many teeth you have. A lot! I think you have been cutting your canine teeth for months.
- You tolerate us brushing your teeth.
- You love spending time and having fun with daddy and being comforted by mommy
- You have a baby doll in your arms almost always
- You can be so silly at times, but you are VERY shy around strangers. This is why we are having a small 2nd birthday party for you. Only us + the grandparents and your surrogate grandparents Rex and Retta.
- You have branched out from Veggie Tales. Yay for variety! Your favorites are Charlotte's Web, Finding Nemo, and Peter Rabbit. You love animals that sing.
- You can count to 10 with ease you also know most of your letters just not in order.
- You know all your colors and animals and their sounds.
- You say so many words it's hard to remember them all. You are very expressive and try to tell us how you are feeling often. I love it when you say I love you :) You are now stringing little sentences together. It's really cute.
- You love to play outside.
- You had another ear infection this month. If we could only get through winter we will be good. You don't have fever with them so that's good. Last year this time you had RSV and it was so bad. This is a cake walk in comparison.
- You became a big cousin again to your twin cousins Hollis & Henley. You love seeing pictures of them and saying their names. It's so sweet. Can't wait for you to meet them. Wish we lived closer :(
